Engaging Our Aging conference

Who should attend?

  • Anyone who is aging (or suspects he might be) – we suggest ages 50 and up

  • Anyone CARING for someone who is aging or suffering with a terminal/chronic illness

Who will be speaking?
Our special speaker is Dr. John Dunlop, MD. John Dunlop is a practicing geriatrician from New Haven, Connecticut, and is on the faculty of Yale School of Medicine. He practiced medicine for 38 years in Zion, Illinois. While there he was credentialed in geriatrics and completed an MA in Bioethics at Trinity International University where he continues to serve on the adjunct faculty. The author of three books, Finishing Well to the Glory of God, Wellness for the Glory of God, and Finding Grace in the Face of Dementia, John has a deep interest in helping believers live through their later years in ways consistent with their faith, honoring God.

What are the topics?

  • Successful Aging – Taking advantage of our later years to bring glory to God in every area of life – physical, mental, social, financial, emotional and spiritual.

  • Challenges of Aging – Aging is not for cowards and there are a number of challenges that await many of us. These may include pain and suffering, losses of many of the blessings we enjoy in this life, depression, disease, and death itself.

  • Finishing Well – Letting go of the things and values of this life as we embrace our eternal future is critical to coming to the end of life well. It also requires an appropriate use of medical care. 

How much does the conference cost?
$30 for singles, $50 for married couples. Includes lunch. Register through our online store. Do so before September 15 and get 10% off!
