The Life Matters Worldwide board of directors in pleased to announce the appointment of Carolyn Doyle as its new president. She takes the helm from Rich Dorsey, who served in this role since July 2020. The board is grateful for Rich’s excellent leadership during the transition period.
Carolyn was raised on the mission field and says, “Ministry is in my blood.” While being a “functional introvert,” Carolyn thrives on the connection she has with those God brings across her path. She loves to teach, learn, paint, mentor, and encourage others. Carolyn has served as the chair of the West Michigan Alliance for Life for the past six year and is excited about the camaraderie and impact this group of pregnancy centers are having on the region.
She believes that pregnancy care centers should function with excellence by providing professional and compassionate care to every client, excellent training for every volunteer and staff, and glorify God in every avenue of ministry. Carolyn is excited to encourage and unite pregnancy center leaders across Michigan and the Midwest in an effort to save more lives, build healthy families, increase awareness, and bring glory to God.
Carolyn has a B.A. in Education and taught high school for eight years. She has completed extended study in the areas of counseling, leadership, and training.
Prior to coming to Life Matters Worldwide she served for 15 years at Lakeshore Pregnancy Center in various roles, the past 9 years as executive director. She often speaks at retreats and conferences (including Life Matter’s Summit).
Carolyn is single and lives in Holland, MI. She will begin her official duties on April 5, 2021.
