Carolyn was raised on the mission field and says, “Ministry is in my blood.” While being a “functional introvert,” Carolyn thrives on the connection she has with those God brings across her path. She loves to teach, learn, paint, mentor, and encourage others. Carolyn has served as the chair of the West Michigan Alliance for Life for the past six year and is excited about the camaraderie and impact this group of pregnancy centers are having on the region.
Carolyn is excited to encourage and unite pregnancy center leaders across Michigan and the Midwest in an effort to save more lives, build healthy families, increase awareness, and bring glory to God.
Carolyn has a B.A. in Education and taught high school for eight years. She has completed extended study in the areas of counseling, leadership, and training.
Prior to coming to Life Matters Worldwide she served for 15 years at Lakeshore Pregnancy Center in various roles, the past 9 years as executive director. She often speaks at retreats and conferences (including Life Matter’s Summit).
